Operational Policies
SELCRA shall have preference on use of all Community Center facilities. SELCRA reserves the right to refuse the use of the building to any person or organization that SELCRA has reason to believe may cause damage to the Community Center.
Rates:
$250 – 6 hours or less
$25 – Each additional hour
PAYMENT:
Cash, Check and Credit Cards will be accepted. Payment for rental is due at the time
of booking the Community Center. A $100 Security Deposit is due when the
key is picked up.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation charges are as follows:
1) 16 days or more prior to the event – refund less 15% administrative fee.
2) Less than 15 days prior to the event – 50% refund
3) Less than 5 days prior to the event – NO REFUND
Security Deposit: $100
The security deposit will be refunded following the reservation, after a building
inspection has been completed. If there is damage to the building or grounds, SELCRA will
withhold the refunding of the $100 deposit.
Applicants Requirements
Provide a copy of a valid driver’s license with the application. Applicants must
be 21 years of age or older to rent the facility and accept responsibility for their guests.
Facilities Available:
Facility rental includes the use of the hall, kitchen, bathrooms, and individual meeting
rooms. Kitchen area provides use of stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.
The main room includes the use of tables and chairs. The main room holds 104
with provided seating. Capacity can be increased to 136 with additional facility
tables. Additional chairs must be brought in by the renters.
Insurance:
SELCRA reserves the right to require proof of insurance from the individual or group
reserving the Community Center Building, dependent upon the nature of the activity.
Clean Up:
Renter is responsible to see that the center is left in neat condition and all
trash and decorations are placed in trash containers. Garbage bags must be placed in dumpster (to the left of the building). Kitchen counters, tables, sink and stove surface shall be wiped clean. All decorations, tape, adhesives, etc. shall be completely removed from all tables and walls. No glitter or confetti is allowed. The Community Center cleaning staff will be responsible for mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and sanitizing the tables and kitchen.
NO ALCOHOL OR SMOKING ALLOWED
All SELCRA Activities are on as scheduled.
