Let's go fishing! SELCRA and Heavner Nature Connection bring you some fun new fishing programs that the whole family can enjoy.

For those beginning anglers, Heavner nature connection offers a Fishing 101 course. This course includes the fundamentals of rod and reel handling, casting, knot tying, tackle, bait, clothing, and types of game fish in Michigan. Poles are provided, but feel free to bring your own! Fishing is an activity that can be done for a lifetime, and there's no better time to start than now.
