NEW! Snow Softball Tournament 2/18

Dust off the cleats and grab your glove for the first ever SELCRA Snow Softball Tournament! Teams must be co-ed and have at least 8 players. Teams must have an equal number of males and females unless there is an odd number and there are more females than males. You must alternate the sexes in the batting order. No exceptions will be made for this rule except if you have more females than males playing. The batting order must be alternated from the first batter on down through the line-up We must have at least 4 teams register to run the tournament. Does your team have what it takes to become the first ever SELCRA Snow Softball Champions!? Be sure to bundle up! This one day event is sure to get your blood pumping!

LEAGUES

Teams must pay the team fee by Wednesday, May 2. All players must register individually and pay an individual player fee by Wednesday, May 9. For additional information, to receive a registration packet or to be placed on a free agent list, please contact Patrick Yelsik at 810-299-4209 or pyelsik@selcra.com. All players must be 18+. Players are responsible for paying $12 umpire fee prior to game at field.

18+ Men's 5/10-8/9

Each team will play a ten-game regular season schedule followed by an end of season tournament. Games are played on Thursdays at Brighton Area Schools at 6:30 & 7:30 pm and will begin May 10.

18+ Women's 5/9-8/8

Each team will play a ten-game regular season schedule followed by an end of season tournament. Games are played on Wednesdays at Brighton Area Schools at 6:30 & 7:30 pm and will begin May 9.

18+ Coed 5/11-8/10

Each team will play a ten-game regular season schedule followed by an end of season tournament. Games are played on Fridays at Brighton Area Schools at 6:30 & 7:30 pm and will begin May 11. Coed teams must have 5 females and 5 males on the field during play.

NEW! Kensington Valley Mens Senior Softball

Join our inaugural season as part of the Kensington Valley Mens Senior Softball League! Participants must be at least age 55 or over. Registration will be taken on an individual basis and team(s) will be formed accordingly. Player fee includes 12 games plus season-ending tournament, balls, t-shirt and fields. Each team will pay the umpire $12 prior to starting the game. Home games will be played at Spencer Elementary School, Scranton Middle School and/or Hawkins Elementary School in Brighton. Team may travel to Hartland, Northville, Howell, Novi and other sites depending upon league registration. If necessary, teams must be prepared to play other days of the week to accommodate rain-outs or tournament play. All players are expected to attend the League Orientation meeting on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 10am at Novi Senior Center, 25075 Meadowbrook. No softball on Tue, Jul 3.
