Opening day is just about 4 months away!!!  Don't miss out on SELCRA's exciting new and improved leagues highlighted by cool new uniforms!  All teams will be generated randomly and will provide all the fun of America's favorite past time!  SELCRA offers baseball/softball leagues for boys and girls in grades K- 10.  Looking to improve your baseball skills or want to make some money this summer, check out some of our camps and referee training classes.

LEAGUES:

Deadline to Register: Friday, May 11

Players will be placed randomly on teams - coach or player requests are not accepted. Practices take place on one weeknight during the week, generally after 5:30pm. Teams will tentatively play 8-9 games throughout the season on Saturdays between 9am-5pm and weekdays after 5:30pm.  A new SELCRA Baseball/Softball uniform is required and included in the price of the programs.  There will be a $10 late fee assessed to all registrations after the May 11th deadline.  Volunteer coaches are needed for all of our leagues, if you are interested please contact Patrick Yelsik at pyelsik@selcra.com.

T BALL

Kindergarten Co-ed - 5/21-7/7

This league is a T-BALL League for players entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2012.  This league helps children get the exercise they need to stay healthy, and develop habits of teamwork that will stay with them throughout their lives!

1st Grade Co-ed -5/21-7/7

This league is a T-BALL League for players entering 1st Grade in the Fall of 2012. This league helps children get the exercise they need to stay healthy, and develop habits of teamwork that will stay with them throughout their lives!

SOFTBALL

Chippewa -2nd/3rd Grade Girls - 5/21-7/7

This is a coach pitch league designed for girls entering the 2nd and 3rd grades in the Fall of 2012.

Iroquois - 4th/5th Grade Girls and Huron - 6th/7th Grade Girls - 5/21-7/7

These are player pitch leagues for girls entering the 4th/5th grades (Iroquois) or 6th/7th grades (Huron) in the Fall of 2012.

Apache -8th/9th/10th Grade Girls - 5/21-7/7

This league is player pitch for girls entering the 8th/9th/10th grades in the Fall of 2012.  Leagues standings will be kept for this league.

BASEBALL

Colt 2nd Grade Boys - 5/21-7/7

This is a coach pitch league for boys entering 2nd grade in the Fall of 2012.

Wildcat 3rd Grade Boys - 5/21-7/7

This league features half coach pitch (3 innings) and half player pitch (3 innings).  It is designed for boys entering the 3rd grade in the Fall of 2012.

Cougar 4th Grade Boys - 5/21-7/7

This is a player pitch league for boys entering the 4th grade in the Fall of 2012.

Wolverine 5th Grade boys - 5/21-7/7

This is a player pitch league for boys entering the 5th grade in the Fall of 2012.

Spartan 6th/7th Grade Boys - 5/21-7/7

This is a player pitch league for boys entering the 6th and 7th grades in the Fall of 2012.

Pony 8th/9th/10th Grade Boys - 5/21-7/7

This is a player pitch league for boys entering the 8th/9th/10th grades in the Fall of 2012.  League standings will be kept in this league.

CAMPS, CLINICS, CLASSES

Umpire Training Class - 5/12

Ages 14+. If you are interested in umpiring for our youth baseball/softball leagues, there will be a mandatory umpire clinic held Sat. May 12 at Brighton HS. Taking this training will qualify you to umpire the youth baseball season, which runs early June through late July.
