CLINICS
SELCRA is pleased to partner once again with Faulkwood Shores for a summer golf clinic. Our summer golf program is a great way for beginners to learn the game of golf in a fun atmosphere. Classes taught by golf professional Don Braden. Class is held at Faulkwood Shores, 300 S. Hughes Rd., Howell, MI 48843
Ages: 8-14, boys and girls
When: Wednesdays 6/20,6/27,7/11,7/18,7/25,8/1
Session 1 - 8:00-9:00am
Session 2 - 9:30-10:30am
Session 3 - 11am-12pm
Where: Faulkwood Shores
Fee: $125
Deadline: June 13
The lessons will focus on:
- Week 1: grip, stance, posture
- Week 2: irons
- Week 3: driving
- Week 4: chipping and putting
- Week 5: on course instruction
- week 6: competition and pizza party
We will also stress the etiquette of the game during a video presentation. Once the student has completed this program, he/she will realize that through practice and play, golf can be enjoyed for a lifetime. Class size is limited to the first six students per session.
