SELCRA offers Youth Soccer leagues in the Fall and Spring and several camps/clinics throughout the year.  Recreational Youth Soccer divisions teach the basic fundamentals of soccer to boys and girls from ages 3 to 7th grade with the focus on fun and teamwork. All skill levels are welcome.  Interested in being a coach?  Volunteer coaches are always needed and greatly appreciated.  Being a coach is a rewarding way to spend quality time with your children and their peers!

LEAGUES

4/5 Year Old, K-7th Grades 

Starting at the Kindergarten level boys and girls will play on separate teams.

Players will be placed randomly on teams - coach or player requests are not accepted.  Parents can request a practice night and will be honored when possible.  Teams will play 8 games - 6 Saturdays and 2 weeknight games during the season.  All new and returning  participants are required to wear the NEW SELCRA uniform (Fall 2011).

Where:        Maltby Intermediate/Hornung Schools

When:         Practices begin March 19 (one night a week after 5:30 pm)

                    Games begin March 31 (mostly Saturdays starting at 9 am including 2 weeknight games)

Fee:             Varies per age group $65-$95/$97-$142

Deadline:    Friday, March 9 ($10 Late Fee assessed after that date)   

Uniforms:    SELCRA unveiled new uniforms this past Fall and all new players must wear the current Blue & Green Uniform.  New uniforms can be purchased at the SELCRA Office.  Cost is $30.00

3 Year Old COED

This league is open to boys and girls and is desgined to introduce your little one to the sport of soccer. Practices will be held on Saturdays for a 1/2 hour followed by a 1/2 hour scrimmage. PARTICIPANT MUST BE 3 BY THE TIME THE LEAGUE STARTS AND MUST BE POTTY TRAINED.

Where:     Matlby Intermediate School

When:      Practices begin March 22 (Saturdays)

                 Games begin March 31 (Saturdays, 1/2 hour practice will be followed by a 1/2 hour scrimmage)

Fee:         $50/$75

Deadline: Friday, March 9 ($10 Late Fee assessed after that date)
